Certified Nursing Aide
Our caring, professional staff offers you or your loved one customized assistance and hands-on care, twenty-four hours a day. We provide a full spectrum of private care including blood pressure monitoring, personal hygiene, wound care, nutritional assistance and more and all services are provided in the client’s home, assisted or long term care facilities, rehab centers and hospitals.
All of our Certified Nursing Assistants are required to complete a minimum of 4 specialty seminars and/or hands-on training programs each year. These programs are intended to strengthen their current nursing aptitude and introduce them to new skill sets in this ever changing field of senior care.
Companion Care provides emotional support and companionship for seniors who are generally healthy and want to remain independent in their home. This type of care is critical to the health of many seniors as it encourages purposeful engagement in the activities of daily life. It include a wide range of non-medical services, including, but certainly not limited to basic cooking, exercises, memory games, shopping, a ride to recreation centers, to a hair salon or to visit a friend or a loved one. In many instances, we have found that the seniors we care for, enjoy sharing and teaching their talents to their younger companions.
Caring for an elderly, chronically ill, or disabled family member may be a part of your daily life, but it is a demanding role and no one should ever be expected to do it alone. Studies have shown that both caregivers and patients are happy and healthier when they have an opportunity to take a break from the daily routine.
Our Respite Care Service provides the necessary short-term breaks that can relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance in your life. Respite care can be for an ill or special needs adult or child, such as a child with autism or an adult with Alzheimer’s. Our services may be arranged for a weekend, a day, or even for a few hours. Call us today to discuss a schedule or simply a date that works for you, and then plan a worry free getaway with friends. You deserve it!
Alzheimers / Dementia Care
We are proud to be a supporter of the Alzheimer's community and participate in the many opportunities that have recently become available in our area. The memory cafe's provide opportunities for social engagement integrated with cultural experiences. They also provie an outlet for caregivers to exchange ideas and strategies for dealing with new and unexpected behaviors that arise with cognitive/memory impaired individuals.
At home, our caregivers have the experience and training needed to provide appropriate, safe and individualized care in keeping with the distinct challenges often presented by patients living with memory impairments and associated behavioral issues. Our Alzheimer and Dementia home care program has been designed to maintain overall independence and quality of life in a loving and familiar environment. We believe the key to improving the quality of daily life is to focus on building new skills and memories by encouraging and supporting natural abilities, rather than focusing on successes of the past.
